My goal for the rest of the semester is to make more unique dishes. I want to do this by creating bowls, mugs, and plates, and then either carve designs into them, or add designs on top with clay. I want to make a bowl that has sun designs on the outside, like the mug I did, and I want to make more bowls with building on them. I want to make mugs with interesting handles, and I want to make one that had an indent on its side with a flower in it. I also want to make some more sgraffito plates. Maybe if I have time, I would like to try using the wheel to make bowls and mugs, and use mid-fire glazes on these to test new colors and patterns.
